I’m Preeti, Registered Psychotherapist, providing a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive space for teens (16+), adults, couples and older adults.
I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling heard and understood. Together, we explore what is bringing you to therapy, identify patterns and strengths, and work toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.
My approach to counselling is collaborative, individualized, and strengths-based. I draw from evidence-informed approaches including CBT, DBT, CPT, IFS, Narrative, EFT, Brainspotting along with trauma-focused interventions informed by EMDR, Parts Work, and Polyvagal Theory. Therapy is tailored to your unique experiences, needs, strengths, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I understand that culture, identity, relationships, and life experiences play a significant role in shaping our mental health support and how we perceive our well-being. These aspects of your experience are welcomed and respected in our trauma-informed care together.
